At Zango, one of our Core Values is to “Work Hard and Be Ready to Play.” A significant part of this extends beyond the workplace and into our communities around the world. Over the years, our employees have given back in a variety of ways.
American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties Professionals in Action Up the Ante
May 2008
Zango employees raised more than $5,000 for the American Red Cross Serving King & Kitsap Counties. Zango employees participated in the Professionals in Action (PiA), a group that provides service and volunteer opportunities specifically geared toward today's active young professionals' lifestyles.
Holiday Food Drive and Adopt-A-Family
December 2007
Zango employees donated more than 1,400 pounds of non-perishable food items as part of a Holiday food drive supporting Northwest Harvest. Also, during the holiday season, Zango sponsored five families through Youth Eastside Services. Each family consisted of 3-to-5 individuals and Zango employees provided at least three gifts to each person. These efforts hopefully brought a little cheer to those less during the holidays.
The University of Washington Medical Center Seattle Marathon
November 2007

With all proceeds from entry fees going towards the University of Washington Medical Center Patient & Housing Fund, Zango sponsored two of its employees in the half marathon.

Northwest Center Clothing Drive
November 2007

Zango employees donated more than 800 pounds of clothing to Northwest Center. The clothing drive enables Northwest Center to continue its mission of promoting the growth, development and independence of people with disabilities through programs of education, rehabilitation and work opportunity.
Drop Your Tops for the Ronald McDonald House
September 2007

During the month of September, Zango employees saved and collected thousands of pop can tops in support of the Ronald McDonald House, which provides a "home away from home" for families of seriously ill children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.
Seattle Works Day
June 2007

A team of Zango employees restored dunes and cleaned beach and wetland areas of Golden Gardens Park in Seattle. They also raised more than $1,000 for the cause.
21 st Annual Big Climb for Leukemia
March 2007

A team of Zango employees showed big hearts during the Big Climb, raising more than $1,000 and conquering 1,311 steps to reach the top of Seattle’s tallest building – the Columbia Center.
Sainte –Justine Hospital Foundation

In addition to being a main sponsor, Zango’s Montreal office raised nearly $6,000 for the Foundation’s annual event. In total, the event raised $115,000.
Team Seattle’s 24 Hours at Daytona
January 2007

Zango employees raised more than $3,000 playing a small part in Team Seattle’s participation in the 2007 Rolex 24 Hours at Daytona race. Team Seattle raised more than $460,000 for Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
Northwest Harvest Food Drive and Youth Eastside Services Adopt-a-Family

Zango employees collected nearly 3,000 cans of food for Northwest Harvest, sponsored eight large families, and donated new gifts (e.g., toys and clothing) and household items.
Annual Run for Children’s

A team of 10 Zango employees raised several hundred dollars and participated in the Run for Children’s, an annual event benefiting Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center.
Seattle Works Day

A team of Zango employees spent the day cleaning and landscaping the grounds of Ryther Child Center in Seattle. They also raised more than $1,000 for the cause.

Zango employees raised more than $11,500 for relief efforts related to the December 26, 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami.
Pacific Northwest Friends of FSH Research

Zango employees donated $7,500 to “FiSHing for a Cure,” an event created to help facilitate research of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy – the second most common form of muscular dystrophy in adults and third most common overall.
