Targeted Visitor Ad
For this popular advertising format, we don't put ads in front of consumers. We put consumers in front of our advertiser’s website. Here's how it works. An advertiser purchases keyword search terms. Then, when a keyword comes up while a user is searching online, a separate browser window opens to deliver this targeted consumer directly to the advertiser’s website or landing page.
So, we don’t interrupt users while they are being entertained. Instead, we show relevant ads separate from the content experience, when users are actively browsing online. We call this Time Shifted AdvertisingSM.
Slider Ads
Also targeted and time shifted, Sliders are sent to a user’s desktop when the advertiser’s purchased keywords trigger a match in our system. Similar to email alerts, this ad unit temporarily slides up from the lower right-hand corner of the desktop. Then, if the user clicks on the Slider, a separate browser window opens that delivers this targeted viewer directly to the advertiser’s website or landing page.

Toolbar Advertising
Zango toolbars integrate directly into a consumer’s Microsoft Outlook® applications and Windows Internet Explorer® browsers. Advertising opportunities include high volume, traffic-driving buttons and banners built directly into the toolbars. Additional ad solutions range from custom email emoticons and backgrounds, to branded screensavers.
Display Ads and Channel Sponsorships
With Channels, we’ve organized Zango’s content around popular consumer areas of interest such as Women’s Life & Style, Travel and Sports. If, for example, a woman wants casual games, entertaining videos or daily horoscopes, she’ll find an entire Channel created just for her. Advertisers can place traditional Display Ads within a Channel and throughout the website. Or sponsor an entire Channel with branding, content integration, custom content and advertising throughout.
How do I uninstall Zango applications?
Any Zango application can be easily and completely uninstalled by choosing "Add or Remove Programs" from your Control Panel. Select the Zango application you would like to uninstall and follow the onscreen prompts to completely remove the application.
Step-by-step instructions:
- Go to Start menu
- Select Control Panel
- Select Add or Remove Programs
- Select the Zango application you'd like to remove
- Click Change/Remove
- Follow onscreen prompts to completely remove the application
